A Homage to One Kings Lane

It's been a while, right? Well, it's been quite the year. Need I say more? A lot has changed; namely, my new found obsession with home decor. Once a "shabby chic" kinda gal, I've found my own sense of style, thanks to various home decor sites, but mainly, One Kings Lane (OKL).

I Concede...to Patent Leather Pumps

I can admit it...there was a time when I judged those who wore florescent, patent leather heels. Blame it in part on height-envy, but also because I just wasn't ready for the trend.

Well, now I am. And these Kensie Girl heels in "key lime" from Akira are so fun and affordable, I may just win a bet and buy them.

Anthropologie, Oh How I Love Thee

I must hand it to the buyers at Anthropologie this season - for the first time (in quite some time) - I walked into the store and didn't shake my head in disappointment at their overly-whimsical collection of frilly dresses and crochet necklaces.

For those who know me well, this may sound a bit contradictory, as I can always count on Anthro to help satisfy my dress obsession needs in the summer. But this spring/summer, I will be making room in my closet (and budget) for many more obsessions, inlcuding this ensemble, created on Polyvore.com.

Lady in Red

This Bottega Veneta red twill dress with a delicate sweetheart neckline is an absolute head turner - which I will never own - but I'm on the hunt for an affordable look-a-like.

Pretty in Hot* Pink

It's been a while, but finally, a pair of pink platform wedges have inspired me. I guess it's just the Snookie in me. Snooks, I'll see you at the club (just look up) in these Pela Wedges by Dolce Vita.
