Charming Necklaces
Lately, my motto is: the more layered gold necklaces the better. I love Heather Moore's (left) personalized charm necklaces in 14k gold and sterling silver.
A lower-priced alternative is this adorable initial necklace from Urban Outfitters.

A Few Things You Should Know About Cleveland
1. Cleveland rocks.
2. It's no longer the mistake on the lake.
4. Hands down, the most fabulous spa I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing is seconds away from my mom's house in Aurora. In fact, it's the only 5 Diamond spa in Ohio. At SpaWalden, you receive your own private suite for your services, with a Kohler hot tub and steam shower, luxurious day bed and yummy snacks to enjoy before and after your treatment.
Road trip anyone?

3. Michael Ruhlman, cookbook author, former NYT reporter and Iron Chef judge who is pretty much a really big deal in the culinary world, named Cleveland as the hottest dining city in America. Well, something like that, in this Chicago Tribune article. Lola and Lolita are amongst the hottest in town, both owned by renowned Food Network star Michael Symon.

Kérastase for All!
Could it be? The epitome of hair care products - Kérastase - once known for it's uber exclusiveness in high-end salons, is now available in drug stores? Looks like it. On a recent trip to my local CVS, I literally jumped for joy upon the discovery.
Some would say L'Oreal sold out, but not me. I say thank you L'Oreal, for making $32 shampoo available to one and all!

Collecting Pop Tabs is Cool
In honor of the thousands of "pop" tabs I collected in grade school (ok, maybe it was high school too) for a friend's school (we were going for a million), I must share this adorable Can Tab Necklace from Alex + Chloe.
Did you know that since 1987, more than 400 million pop tabs have been collected, generating more than $4 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities?

It certainly won't help when/if you drop your iPhone, but this beautiful soft leather pouch from Jackrabbit will protect against the inevitable scratches.

Maria Pinto Brings it Home
Anyone who knows me knows this is my dream top. White, ruffles and fabUlous.
Since being blessed with an aww-inspiring scarf from a party at Sepia, I'm forever a fan of Chicago's elite designer, Maria Pinto. [Michelle Obama is also a huge fan.]
In June 2008, stay tuned for Maria's first retail space (right next door to Sepia, of course) in the West Loop.
